A IMPORTÂNCIA DAS TECNOLOGIAS DE INFORMAÇÃO E COMUNICAÇÃO NA EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA
Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a importância do uso das
Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação no processo de ensino e aprendizagem
na Educação a Distância. A incorporação das TIC na modalidade EAD é inerente a
essa modalidade educativa, pois possibilita estratégias de ensino/aprendizagem
não presenciais. Nesse processo, há uma ênfase no desenvolvimento dos programas
de EAD que implicam a incorporação das tecnologias de informação e comunicação
que atuam de maneira benéfica no processo de ensino e aprendizagem e
possibilitam significativas alterações no que se refere as questões pedagógicas. A
pesquisa tem um caráter qualitativo e fundamenta-se através de uma revisão
bibliográfica, com o objetivo de subsidiar a relevância do uso das Tecnologias de
Informação e Comunicação no processo de ensino-aprendizagem da Educação a
Distância. Com base nas pesquisas realizadas, verificou-se que as TIC são bastantes
utilizadas no ensino, podem ser aplicadas em diferentes áreas do conhecimento,
permitindo que novas práticas ampliem antigas possibilidades e que são
ferramentas capazes de potencializar a reestruturação de práticas pedagógicas. É
relevante frisar que Moran (2002), Belloni (2009), Mattar (2008), Behar (2009),
Libâneo (2001) e Valente (2003), legaram a comunidade científica teorias que
concedem a este trabalho a fundamentação necessária para a compreensão da
importância das TIC para a Educação a Distância.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the importance of the use of Information and
Communication Technologies, ICT, in the process of teaching and learning in Distance
Education, DE. The incorporation of ICT in the DE modality is inherent in this
educational modality, as it allows non-classroom teaching / learning strategies. In this
process, there is an emphasis on the development of DE programs that involve the
incorporation of information and communication technologies that act in a beneficial
way in the teaching and learning process and make possible significant changes in
pedagogical issues. The research has a qualitative character and is based on a
bibliographical review, aiming to subsidize the relevance of the use of Information
and Communication Technologies in the teaching-learning process of Distance
Education. Based on the researches carried out, it was verified that ICT are quite used
in teaching, and can be applied in different areas of knowledge, allowing new
practices to extend old possibilities and that are tools capable of potentializing the
restructuring of pedagogical practices. It is important to note that theories have been
given to the scientific community by Moran (2002), Belloni (2009), Mattar (2008),
Behar (2009) and Libano, that prove the importance of ICT for Distance Education.
