A IMPORTÂNCIA DAS MEDIDAS DE BIOSEGURANÇA NA PREVENÇÃO DE DOENÇAS OCUPACIONAIS NO AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR – UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
Objetivo: Evidenciar por meio da literatura a importância das medidas de biossegurança na prevenção de doenças ocupacionais no ambiente hospitalar. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com busca na base de dados da biblioteca virtual em saúde (BVS), onde incluíram-se ensaios clínicos controlados e randomizados, caso-controle e publicados nos últimos cinco anos e excluídos artigos não disponíveis na integra, relato de caso e revisões de literatura. Resultados: De acordo com os 7 artigos estudados, todos obtiveram resultados que apontam que os acidentes de trabalho são recorrentes em ambientes hospitalares, criando a necessidade de uso correto das medidas de biossegurança, a fim de reduzir os índices de acidentes ocasionados por esses tipos de materiais. Conclusão: Conclui-se que as medidas de biossegurança são importantes na prevenção de doenças ocupacionais no ambiente hospitalar.
