Abstract: Veterinary anatomy is the branch of morphological science that studies the shape, structure, topography and functional interaction of the tissues and organs that make up the body of different animal species. Among the areas covered in anatomical study, osteology, which deals with the study of bones and cartilage present in the joints, is an area of great importance in veterinary medicine, due to the various correlations with initial training, performance and diagnoses, which will guide the clinical conduct of the Veterinarian.
