A IMPORTÂNCIA DA LEITURA ESCOLAR COMO CRESCIMENTO E FORMAÇÃO DE LEITORES CRÍTICOS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL
O objetivo deste artigo é demonstrar a importância da leitura em sala de aula no ensino fundamental, pois o mesmo é primordial para o aprendizado do indivíduo dentro da sociedade. A leitura promove o desenvolvimento do indivíduo e da sociedade como um todo, no momento em que o mundo vive em plena globalização e as formas de comunicação e informação mudaram a rotina da população. A leitura é um dos meios de desenvolvimento da linguagem e da personalidade, favorece a remoção de barreiras educacionais e promove o exercício intelectual. Desse modo com a prática da leitura, instrumento facilitador e estimulante, o aluno é impulsionado ao treino de suas habilidades cognitivas e aptidões, tornando assim a leitura como o principal meio de comunicação entre os seres humanos. Para que o ser humano se torne um leitor crítico e participativo, é necessário que haja um estímulo contínuo para o contato entre o indivíduo e o trabalho. Baseado neste contexto foram feitas pesquisas bibliográficas, que auxiliaram nos estudos sobre o tema abordado, analisando autores como: Paulo Freire, Bacha, Martins, Lajolo entre outros.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the importance of reading in the classroom in elementary school, since it is essential for the learning of the individual within the society. Reading promotes the development of the individual and of society as a whole, at a time when the world lives in the midst of globalization and the forms of communication and information have changed the routine of the population. Reading is one of the means of developing language and personality, favors the removal of educational barriers and promotes intellectual exercise. In this way, with the practice of reading, a facilitating and stimulating instrument, the student is encouraged to train his / her cognitive abilities and abilities, thus making reading the main means of communication among human beings. In order for the human being to become a critical and participatory reader, there must be a continuous stimulus for the contact between the individual and the work. Based on this context, bibliographical researches were done, which helped in the studies on the topic, analyzing authors such as: Paulo Freire, Bacha, Martins, Lajolo and others.
