A IMPORTÂNCIA DA FISIOTERAPIA NO PROCESSO DE DECANULAÇÃO DE PACIENTES HOSPITALIZADOS NO SERVIÇO PÚBLICO DE SAÚDE: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Para estabelecer o prognóstico e planejar a conduta de desmame da traqueostomia é de fundamental importância o envolvimento da equipe multidisciplinar na interpretação dos aspectos clínicos e laboratoriais. A fisioterapia contribui de maneira significativa no processo de decanulação, sendo necessária cautela para a realização desse processo. O presente estudo teve como objetivo relatar a importância do fisioterapeuta no atendimento ao paciente traqueostomizado com prognóstico de decanulação. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, tipo relato de experiência na área de fisioterapia respiratória, com ênfase na infectologia e reabilitação dos pacientes internados na enfermaria do Hospital e Pronto Socorro Dr. João Lúcio Pereira Machado, na cidade de Manaus-AM. Conclui-se que o fisioterapeuta é um profissional que contribui para a decanulação de forma mais rápida e segura ao paciente, mesmo com indisponibilidade de recursos adequados.

Abstract:
In order to establish the prognosis and plan the conduct of weaning from the tracheostomy, the involvement of the multidisciplinary team in the interpretation of clinical and laboratory aspects is of fundamental importance. Physiotherapy contributes significantly to the process of decannulation, and caution is required to perform this process. The present study aimed to report the importance of the physiotherapist in assisting the tracheostomized patient with decannulation prognosis. This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, type of experience report in the area of respiratory physiotherapy, with an emphasis on infectology and rehabilitation of patients admitted to the hospital and emergency room Dr. João Lúcio Pereira Machado, in the city of Manaus- AM. It is concluded that the physiotherapist is a professional who contributes to decannulation in a faster and safer way to the patient, even with the unavailability of adequate resources.
