Abstract: This article addresses the subjective dimension of the human being, examining the effect that education has on cooperative and non-cooperative organizations in shaping the profile of the cooperative person. The education discussed in this article also refers to cultivating the foundations of what human beings bring with them at birth and not just training programs. The content of this article is the result of a data collection carried out through a qualitative research of the educational practices that promote the culture of cooperation adopted in the investigated organizations, as well as quantitative, made through the KoopHezi-L tool, which measures the culture cooperative of an organization through the perception that the workers have of their organizations. The results indicate that the cooperative profile found among the investigated companies is of people between 45 and 54 years old, with more than 20 years in the company, in function and in cooperativism, who have a postgraduate degree, develop multitasking and exercise a leadership role. The conclusion proposes the adoption of the cooperative person (PC) profile as an alternative for the development of skills that promote cooperation and solidarity at work and are consistent with the cooperative mentality, as a means to achieve participatory work environments and contexts, as well as sustainable cooperative ventures over time.
