Abstract: This current research aimed to investigate teaching and learning mechanisms in the context of school inclusion of deaf students in the regular teaching network, being developed through bibliographical research, through reading and analysis of books and current legislation that highlight educational principles for deaf students. . The research reflects on the inclusion of deaf students in regular education in a bilingual education proposal, that is, improvement of fluency in sign language, designated as their first language, and learning in the written modality of the Portuguese language, designated as their second language. According to this context, there is a need for articulations and involvement of the regent teacher and the specialized teacher, together with the pedagogical team and the family, for an education in favor of effective cognitive, social and academic development for this student body that presents only another gateway to communication, information, teaching and learning, through dialogue and teamwork of all the instances mentioned above that better results and strategies will be developed with this public of these students.
