A IMPORTÂNCIA DA DISSECAÇÃO ANIMAL NA ANATOMIA VETERINARIA PARA A FORMAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL CLÍNICA-CIRÚRGICA
A anatomia é uma das disciplinas na qual os discentes apresentam uma maior dificuldade durante a graduação. O objetivo deste trabalho foi apresentar a técnica de dissecação em animais realizada, com ênfase na miologia, a fim de promover no discente uma melhoria na relação ensino-aprendizagem, além de desenvolver a ética e a postura profissional perante o animal. Os discentes, divididos em grupos, efetuam a dissecção de um cadáver animal durante 4 semanas ao longo de cada semestre da disciplina Anatomia Veterinária I da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) - Setor Palotina. E a partir da dissecção, foi realizada a identificação dos músculos por região do corpo do animal (cabeça, pescoço, tronco, membro torácico e membro pélvico). Ao final das dissecações, cada grupo de alunos confeccionaram um atlas impresso constando fotografias identificadas dos músculos por região, com uma legenda descrevendo a origem, inserção, ação e inervação de cada músculo destacado. O aprendizado da técnica de dissecação permitiu aos discentes o manuseio correto dos instrumentais, como também a identificação dos músculos. Estimulando a integralização do assunto com outras disciplinas, tornando-se desta maneira de suma importância na formação de Médicos Veterinários.

Abstract:
Anatomy is one of the disciplines in which students’ present difficulty during graduation. The aim of this study was to present the technique of dissection in animals, with emphasis on myology, in order to promote an improvement of learning to the student, besides developing ethics and professional attitude towards the animal. The students, divided into groups, dissected for 4 weeks during each semester of the discipline Veterinary Anatomy I of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) – Palotina Sector. After dissection, the muscles were identified by region of the animal’s body (head, neck, trunk, and limbs). And each group of students made an atlas with identified photographs of the muscles by region, describing the origin, insertion, action and innervation of each highlighted muscle. The learning of the technique of dissection allowed the students the correct handling of the instruments, as well as the identification of the muscles. Stimulating the integration of the anatomy with other disciplines, becoming important in the training of Veterinarians.
