A IDENTIDADE PROFISSIONAL DO PROFESSOR DE MATEMÁTICA: CONSIDERAÇÕES ACERCA DAS INFLUÊNCIAS DAS REFORMAS EDUCACIONAIS
Este trabalho tem por objetivo
apresentar algumas reflexões a respeito das
influências das atuais reformas educacionais
na identidade profissional do professor de
matemática. O interesse pela temática surgiu
a partir de questionamentos de docentes
acerca do nosso papel enquanto educadores
matemáticos, dentro da instituição escolar. A
questão de investigação analisada neste artigo
é: Que influências e impactos as questões
e os desafios presentes hoje, no que se
refere à educação e advindos das reformas
educacionais, exercem nas concepções e no
modo do “ser professor” e, principalmente, na
constituição da Identidade Profissional dos
professores de matemática? A investigação
aqui apresentada é desenvolvida por meio de
um estudo bibliográfico sobre o tema. Através
da análise bibliográfica efetuada evidenciou-se
que a re/construção da identidade profissional
é um processo passível de diversas influências,
incluindo aquelas trazidas pelas reformas
educacionais devido, entre outros fatores: porque
tais reformas muitas vezes não consideram as
colocações pessoais dos docentes quando
das suas elaborações e implantações e além
disso e principalmente porque os professores
encontram muitas dificuldades em lidar com
situações advindas dessas reformas para as
quais não se sentem devidamente preparados.

Abstract:
This paper aims to present
some reflections on the influence of current
educational reforms on the professional identity
of the mathematics teacher. Interest in the
subject arose from the concern of witnessing
daily several teachers’ questions about our role
as mathematical educators within the school
institution. The research question analyzed
in this paper is: What influences and impacts
the present issues and challenges, regarding
education and the result of educational reforms,
exert in the conceptions and the way of being
a teacher and, mainly, in the constitution of the
professional identity of math teachers? The
research was developed through a bibliographic
study on the subject. Through the bibliographical
analysis carried out it was evidenced that the
re / construction of the professional identity is
a process susceptible of diverse influences,including those brought about by educational reforms due, among other things, to the
fact that such reforms often do not consider the personal position of teachers when
it comes to their elaborations and implementations, and more especially because
teachers find it very difficult to deal with situations arising from these reforms for which
do not feel properly prepared.
