A honra era um fator muito importante para a sociedade japonesa no período da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Esteve presente tanto nas batalhas quanto na rendição. Este artigo aborda a honra presente no discurso imperial japonês que anunciou a rendição nipônica.

Abstract:
Honor was a very important factor for the Japanese society during the World War II. It was present both in battles and in surrendness. This article discusses this honor present in the Japanese Imperial Speech that announced the surrender by the japaneses.
