A HISTÓRIA POLÍTICA APÓS 30 ANOS DA PUBLICAÇÃO ORGANIZADA POR RENÉ RÉMOND: POSSIBILIDADES ATUAIS DE PESQUISA TENDO COMO OBJETOS GETÚLIO VARGAS E LUIZ INÁCIO LULA DA SILVA.
Em 2018, completou-se 30 anos
da primeira edição da obra “Por uma História
Política”, organizada por René Rémond,
possibilitando a renovação deste gênero
histórico por muito tempo marginalizado. Se
antes a história política era vista como factual
e idealista, atualmente abriram-se novas
possibilidades de pesquisa. Ao invés da
exaltação aos grandes personagens históricos,
a nova História Política traz outros temas a serem
trabalhados, como o processo eleitoral, partidos
políticos, a opinião pública, mídia, intelectuais
e suas ideias políticas, discursos, além de
problematizar as biografias de personagens
históricos e políticos. Como exemplo, o artigo
mostra algumas possibilidades de novas
interpretações acerca dos governos de Vargas
e Lula

Abstract:
In 2018, 30 years of the first
edition of the work "For a Political History",
organized by René Rémond, was completed,
making possible the renewal of this historical
genre for a long time marginalized. If political
history was once seen as factual and idealistic,
new possibilities for research have now opened
up. Instead of exalting the great historical
figures, the new Political History brings other
themes to be worked out, such as the electoral
process, political parties, public opinion, media,
intellectuals and their political ideas, speeches,
as well as problematizing the biographies of
historical characters and politicians. As an
example, the article shows some possibilities of
new interpretations about the governments of
Vargas and Lula
