A história da pessoa com deficiência: algumas considerações
Este trabalho tem como objetivo fazer uma reflexão a respeito do que apontam as pesquisas sobre a trajetória das pessoas com deficiência ao longo da história da humanidade. Desta forma, buscamos trazer as informações mais relevantes sobre o percurso desses indivíduos na sociedade e como o mesmo tem se configurado ao longo dos anos e no momento atual. Ao longo do trabalho discutimos os valores atribuídos a estes sujeitos com o passar dos anos, podendo notar que tais valores variam de acordo com o contexto histórico, cultural e social de cada grupo. De forma mais sucinta, apresenta-se o movimento legislativo onde tange o trato dessas pessoas. Conclui-se que muitos foram os avanços alcançados ao longo da história, no entanto, muito ainda há de se discutir a fim de que sejam garantidos a estes cidadãos todas as prerrogativas que lhes assegura a lei. Ao final abrimos um pequeno espaço para explanar acerca da história da pessoa com deficiência no Brasil.

Abstract:
This work aims to reflect on what research on the trajectory of people with disabilities throughout the history of humanity points out. In this way, we seek to bring the most relevant information about the path of these individuals in society and how it has been configured over the years and at the present time. Throughout the work we discussed the values attributed to these subjects over the years, being able to notice that such values vary according to the historical, cultural and social context of each group. More succinctly, it presents the legislative movement that deals with the treatment of these people. It is concluded that many advances have been made throughout history, however, much remains to be discussed in order to guarantee these citizens all the prerogatives that the law assures them. At the end, we open a small space to explain about the history of people with disabilities in Brazil.
