A GUERRA DO CONTESTADO NA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA: UMA APROXIMAÇÃO INDISPENSÁVEL NO MEIO-OESTE CATARINENSE
O presente artigo objetiva descrever
uma atividade interdisciplinar desenvolvida no
ano de 2015, com os alunos da 9ª série do
Ensino Fundamental, a fim de aproximá-los de
uma das batalhas mais sangrenta da história
de Santa Catarina. Esta atividade envolveu
as disciplinas de língua portuguesa, ciências,
história, geografia, filosofia e artes. Foram
desenvolvidas diversas atividades curriculares
relacionadas à Guerra do Contestado, sendo
que ao final dessas atividades os alunos
realizaram uma viagem de estudos ao município
de Fraiburgo-SC, onde visitaram o Museu de
Taquaruçu e puderam passear pelos campos
onde ocorreu o que é considerado o maior
confronto catarinense. Ao final do projeto, os
estudantes puderam conhecer a história através
do olhar do caboclo e daqueles que lutam
para manter a memória popular preservada e
a valorizar a construção do conhecimento em
espaços não formais de educação

Abstract:
The present article aims to
describe an interdisciplinary activity developed
in the year 2015 with the students of the 9th
grade elementary school, in order to bring them
closer to one of the bloodiest battles in the
history of Santa Catarina. This activity involved
the disciplines of Portuguese language, science,
history, geography, philosophy and the arts.
Several curricular activities were developed
related to the War of the Contestado, and at
the end of these activities the students made
a study trip to the city of Fraiburgo-SC, where
they visited the Museum of Taquaruçu and were
able to walk through the fields where it occurred
what is considered the largest confrontation. At
the end of the project, the students were able
to get to know the story through the eyes of the
caboclo and those who struggle to keep popular
memory preserved and to value the construction
of knowledge in non-formal spaces of education.
