A Gramática Histórica como ferramenta para o ensino de língua portuguesa
Neste estudo, pretendemos definir
o conceito de gramática histórica, partindo da
concepção clássica estabelecida por Ismael
Coutinho (1962; 2011) às visões apontadas por
Bagno (2007) e Martelotta (2013). Objetivamos
relacionar o uso da gramática histórica como
uma importante ferramenta para o ensino de
língua portuguesa, com ênfase nas questões
históricas que envolvem a formação dessa
língua românica. Para a constituição da base
teórica, selecionamos, entre outros, estudos que
versam sobre a história da língua portuguesa:
Teyssier (2007), Câmara Jr. (2011), Travaglia
(2009), Assis et al. (2011), Assis (2014), além
dos trabalhos já citados. Adotamos os seguintes
procedimentos metodológicos: pesquisa
bibliográfica realizada por meio de literatura
especializada; extração de excertos dessas
obras, com a finalidade de apresentar a utilidade
da gramática histórica; discutir criticamente o
pouco uso desse tipo de instrumento linguístico
e como isso pode afetar o conhecimento do
português brasileiro. Os resultados indicam que
o conhecimento sobre temas como variação
e mudança linguística, fonética histórica,
morfologia histórica, metaplasmos, vocalismo,
consonantismo, analogia, formação do léxico,
por exemplo, são tópicos de grande proficuidade
para o estudioso do idioma neolatino.

Abstract:
In this study, we propose to define
the concept of the historical grammar, beginning
from the classic conception stablished by Ismael
Coutinho (1962; 2011) to views aimed by Bagno
(2007) and Martelotta (2013). Objecting to relate
the use of the historical grammar as an important
tool to teaching of Portuguese language, with
emphasis in the historical matters that involve
the formation of this Romanic language. To the
constitution of the theoretical basis, we selected
some authors that sort about the history out
of the Portuguese language: Teyssier (2007),
Câmara Jr. (2011), Travaglia (2009), Assis et al.
(2011), Assis (2014), well over the researches
mentioned. We adopt the next procedures:
bibliographic research realized though the
specialized literature; extraction of these works,
with the finality of presents the utility of the
historical grammar; discuss critically the not
much use of this type of linguistic instrument
and how it may to affect the knowledge of the
Brazilian Portuguese. The results indicate that
the knowledge about subjects as linguistic
variation and language change, historical
phonetic, historical morphology, metaplasms, vocalism, consonatism, analogy, lexical
word-formation, for example, are topics productivity to the studious of the neolatine
language.
