Abstract: The study presented as an object of research the relationship between a charity hospital management and public health services. The delimitation of the object of this study aims to collect data relevant to philanthropy with an emphasis on the historical trajectory of the Hospital and its interaction with the management of public health services. We also intend to reconstruct the historical trajectory of a charity hospital that maintains service contracts with the state government of the Holy Spirit; identify key milestones of this relationship and the role of philanthropy forms used by this hospital, in health and social practices , discuss the issue of charity in the nonprofit sector and its relationship with the public institution. Based on thematic analysis found that the largest source of income is through this hospital contractual relationship which is called partnership. This relationship is marked by conflict that can be attributed to limited picture of these organizations for their ability to respond effectively to the funder and regulator processes. The results of this contractual relationship reach expected since there is an increase in supply and improvement in the population's access to health services. The institution in the field of social practices has contributed as part of the process of social inclusion. The future and the durability of the contractual relationship is still unclear because there are many questions about this topic.
