A GEOGRAFIA NA EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS: ESTUDO DE CASO EM UMA ESCOLA DA ZONA LESTE DE MANAUS (AM)
O ensino de Geografia na Educação
de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) se torna uma tarefa
desafiadora, devido o papel que esta ciência
exerce na sociedade. Este trabalho, busca
entender a inserção da Geografia nessa
modalidade de ensino. E, um cenário, de um
número elevado de jovens e adultos que
abandonaram a formação regular, e que agora
retornam por meio da EJA. Ainda, a situação
vivenciada na Escola Estadual Cacilda Braule
Pinto, situada no bairro do Coroado, acompanhar
acolhida a um público mesclado de alunos que
trabalham durante o dia, e, outros não. Além
disso, compreender a relação dos conteúdos
de Geografia relacionados com a realidade
vivenciada pelos alunos. Assim, justifica-se este
trabalho por buscar compreender os critérios
e os recursos utilizados na Geografia para
a EJA. Por fim, verificar as possíveis formas
de avaliação para esse público com o intuito
de aproximar suas experiências ao ensino de
Geografia.

Abstract:
The teaching of Geography in the
Education of Young and Adults (EJA) becomes a
challenging task, due to the role that this science
plays in society. This work seeks to understand
the insertion of Geography in this teaching
modality. It is a scenario of a large number of
young people and adults who have dropped out
of regular training and who now return through
the EJA. Still, the situation experienced at the
State School Cacilda Braule Pinto, located in the
neighborhood of Coroado, accompany a mixed
audience of students who work during the day,
and others do not. In addition, to understand the
relation of the contents of Geography related
to the reality lived by the students. Thus, this
work is justified because it seeks to understand
the criteria and resources used in Geography
for the EJA. Finally, to verify the possible forms
of evaluation for this public with the intention of
approaching their experiences to the teaching
of Geography
