A FUNÇÃO SOCIAL DOS LIVROS INFANTIS COM PROTAGONISTAS/PERSONAGENS NEGROS
Este artigo visa abordar aspectos que permeiam a literatura infanto-juvenil e sua função social para com o público negro. Grupo este que corresponde a maior parcela da população brasileira. Além disso, vamos visibilizar alguns livros que trazem personagens protagonistas negras e que trabalham a questão da representação/valorização da etnia africana, bem como sua cultura e costumes. O presente artigo foi desenvolvido ante a necessidade de viabilizar a expansão de representação do público negro por meio de obras literárias, para isto, o estudo será baseado em ideias e pressupostos de teóricos que possuem importância significativa para a construção da análise a ser realizada. Sendo assim, os objetos a serem estudados serão de fontes primárias como trabalhos acadêmicos, artigos, livros e afins, que foram selecionados, os quais contribuirão para comprovar a importância da veiculação de livros que possuam em si representações referentes ao público negro, uma vez que ao possuírem, podem denotar caráter de cunho social.

Abstract:
This article intends to show aspects that permeate the children’s literature and its social function towards the black public, which corresponds to most of the Brazilian population. Besides, we intend to show some books that has black people as main protagonists and that includes the representation/appreciation of the African ethnicity, such as their culture and mores. This article was developed in view of the need to expand the black people representation per literary works; therefore, the study will be based on ideas and theoretical assumptions that has a significant importance for this article’s analysis. Thus, the objects to be study will be of primary fonts such as academic papers, articles, books and related, that were previously selected, which will contribute to prove the importance of books’ publication and circulation that have representation referring to the black audience, once they have this representation, they may denote a social character.
