A FORMAÇÃO DOS PROFESSORES DE LÍNGUA INGLESA PARA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL
O objeto dessa pesquisa trata-se da
constatação da necessidade de uma formação
específica para os professores de inglês que
lecionam na Educação Infantil. Partindo da
análise da realidade de como os professores
de língua inglesa estão sendo formados pelos
cursos de graduação em Letras, sem uma
disciplina que se refira a esta faixa etária, e da
dificuldade então que os mesmos encontram ao
lecionar na Educação infantil; validando assim
o pressuposto de que esta etapa educacional
possui características diferentes de alunos de
outras idades que o professor poderá encontrar
em suas salas de aula. Além disso, salientase como este ensino deve então ser realizado,
de maneira que promova uma aprendizagem
significativa da língua inglesa para as crianças
deste nível educacional, levando em conta
suas características e especificidades que
influenciam diretamente no seu modo de
aprender, assimilar o conhecimento e no
seu próprio desenvolvimento. Para tanto foi
realizado uma pesquisa bibliográfica na qual foi
possível apreender o que os estudos de autores
relatam sobre o tema.

Abstract:
The object of this research is
to ascertain the need for specific formation
for English teachers who teach in Children’s
Education. Starting from the analysis of the
reality of how English language teachers are
being formed by the degree courses in Letters,
without a discipline that refers to this age
group, and the difficulty they then encounter
in teaching in early childhood education; thus
validating the assumption that this educational
stage has different characteristics of students
of other ages that the teacher can find in their
classrooms. In addition, it is stressed how this
teaching should then be carried out, so as to
promote a significant learning of the English
language for children of this educational level,
taking into account their characteristics and
specificities that directly influence their way of
learning, assimilating knowledge and their own
development. For this purpose, a bibliographic
research was conducted in which it was possible
to understand what the authors’ studies report
on the subject.
