A Formação do Pedagogo e o Ensino de Ciências: Uma Reflexão a Partir do Projeto Pedagógico do Curso de Pedagogia de Uma Faculdade Privada do Interior do Espirito Santo
O estudo se propõe investigar como
o ensino de ciências está inserido no curso
de pedagogia de uma faculdade privada do
interior do Espírito Santo. Essa investigação foi
fundamental para refletirmos sobre as implicações
para o ensino de ciências na educação infantil
e anos iniciais do ensino fundamental, já que
é o pedagogo o profissional que atua nessas
etapas da educação básica. A pesquisa teve
caráter qualitativo e como técnica de produção
de dados optamos pela analise documental,
que, neste estudo, se constituiu na análise do
Projeto Pedagógico do Curso de Pedagogia.
Como principais resultados evidenciamos que
a proposta Pedagógica do Curso contempla
disciplinas diferenciadas, sendo a Educação
Ambiental e a Biologia Educacional disciplinas
adicionais que trabalham o ensino de ciências,
além disso, outra característica observada é a
interdisciplinaridade, praticada ao longo de todo
o curso, o que demonstra que as disciplinas
não se constituem como blocos isolados de
conteúdos.

Keywords: The study intends to investigate how science education is inserted in the pedagogy course of a private college in the interior of Espírito Santo. This research was fundamental to reflect on the implications for science education in early childhood education and early years of elementary education, since it is the pedagogue the professional that acts in these stages of basic education. The research was qualitative and as a data production technique we opted for the documentary analysis, which, in this study, was constituted in the analysis of the Pedagogical Project of the Pedagogy Course. As main results we show that the Pedagogical proposal of the Course includes differentiated disciplines, being the Environmental Education and Educational Biology additional disciplines that work the teaching of sciences, in addition, another observed characteristic is the interdisciplinarity, Formação Docente: Princípios e Fundamentos 2 Capítulo 19 232 practiced throughout the course, the Which demonstrates that the disciplines are not constituted as isolated blocks of contents.
