A FORMAÇÃO DE UM INTELECTUAL
O objetivo do presente trabalho é discutir alguns aspectos do percurso formativo de um intelectual na sociedade brasileira, bem como indicar algumas caraterísticas comuns inerentes à sua formação. Outrossim, a proposta deste artigo é discutir e refletir sobre alguns aspectos da condição de ser intelectual no Brasil e, quando conveniente, em outros lugares do mundo. A partir do desenvolvimento deste trabalho, foi possível compreender que a formação de um intelectual é multifacetada, ou seja, não há uma direção retilínea, nem uma fórmula fechada. Na verdade, este processo de formação nunca se esgota e se beneficia permanentemente das experiências cotidianas ligadas à produção do conhecimento, bem como da observação atenta do que ocorre no mundo real. Por outro lado, se torna evidente que o envolvimento com as diversas culturas existentes possibilitará uma existência de um intelectual mais equilibrado e aberto às possibilidades e visões de mundos diferentes e convergentes. Em síntese, a formação de um intelectual, bem como seu grau de qualidade, seguramente, dependerá das experiências cotidianas e dos encontros com o conhecimento e a cultura, por um lado. Por outro lado, na experiência brasileira, tem papel relevante e decisivo a formação escolar e acadêmica, na medida em que durante seu percurso formativo no ensino regular será possível um entendimento melhor das estruturas socioeconômicas, culturais e políticas da sociedade brasileira – algo de difícil compreensão fora dos espaços escolares e acadêmicos.

Abstract:
The objective of the present work is to discuss some aspects of the training path of an intellectual in brazilian society, as well as to indicate some common characteristics inherent to his education. Furthermore, the purpose of this paper is to discuss and reflect on some aspects of the condition of being an intellectual in Brazil and, when appropriate, in other parts of the world. From the development of this article, it was possible to understand that the training of an intellectual is multifaceted, that is, there is no straight line, nor a closed formula. In fact, this training process is never exhausted and permanently benefits from everyday experiences linked to the production of knowledge, as well as from careful observation of what happens in the real world. On the other hand, it becomes evident that the involvement with the different existing cultures allows the existence of a more balanced intellectual and open to the possibilities and visions of different and converging worlds. In summary, the training of an intellectual, as well as his degree of quality, will certainly depend on daily experiences and encounters with knowledge and culture, on the one hand. On the other hand, in the brazilian experience, school and academic training has a relevant and decisive role, as during its course in regular education it will be possible to have a better understanding of the socioeconomic, cultural and political structures of brazilian society - something difficult to understand outside school and academic spaces.
