Abstract: The present work sought to identify the relationships between Aristotle's physics and the previous conceptions of basic education physics students. The study was carried out through an integrative literature review, in the Google Scholar database. For the eligibility of academic - scientific works, the keywords “Aristotelian physics” and “previous conceptions” were used, concatenated with the Boolean connective END. As an inclusion criterion, we chose publications from the last 5 (five) years. We did not use literature review articles as an exclusion criterion. The results show that although the students had not had contact with Aristotelian conceptions about movement, many of these students' previous conceptions are close to Aristotle's view of physics. In this aspect, we can highlight that the introduction of Aristotle's physics in physics classes can favor the construction of more up-to-date physics concepts. In addition to offering students a historical view of science.
