A FESTA DO CAMINHONEIRO: TURISMO RELIGIOSO E CULTURAL NA CIDADE DE ITABAIANA/SE
Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo
identificar a Festa do Caminhoneiro de ItabaianaSe enquanto atrativo turístico do Turismo
Religioso e Cultural local. O desenvolvimento
deste trabalho teve como base metodológica
o levantamento bibliográfico, cujas temáticas
foram: Turismo Religioso, Turismo Cultural,
Turismo de Eventos, Cultura, Religião e
Patrimônio. Foi pesquisado como subsídio de
informações, outras festas existentes no Brasil
para mostrar que o Turismo Religioso está
associado ao Turismo Cultural e é viável para
o desenvolvimento econômico, cultural e social
da localidade. É um evento cultural de cunho
religioso, onde é perceptível à miscelânea entre
o sagrado e o profano. O que afirma dizer que
a Festa do Caminhoneiro de Itabaiana é um
atrativo turístico do Turismo Religioso e Cultural
local é a devoção ao Santo Padroeiro, Santo
Antônio, atraindo milhares de pessoas sempre.

Abstract:
The objective of this research is
to identify the Itabaiana-Se Truck Driver’s Party
as a tourist attraction of the local Religious
and Cultural Tourism. The development of the
research had as a methodological basis the
bibliographical survey, whose themes were:
Religious Tourism, Cultural Tourism, Event
Tourism, Culture, Religion and Patrimony.
As an information subsidy, other festivals in
Brazil were researched to show that Religious
Tourism is associated with Cultural Tourism and
is feasible for the economic, cultural and social
development of the locality. It is a cultural event
of a religious nature, where it is perceptible
to the miscellany between the sacred and the
profane. What affirms to say that the Party of the
Truck driver of Itabaiana is a tourist attraction
of the Local Religious and Cultural Tourism is
the devotion to the Patron Saint, Saint Antonio,
attracting thousands of people always.
