A FEIRA DE CIÊNCIAS COMO ESTRATÉGIA DE INSERÇÃO DA CULTURA CIENTÍFICA NOS ANOS INICIAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar o potencial das Feiras de Ciências enquanto estratégia relevante para a promoção e disseminação da cultura científica no contexto escolar dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. A metodologia adotada baseia-se em levantamento bibliográfico e em documentos oficiais que tratam da temática, além do relato de uma experiência pedagógica realizada com turmas dos anos iniciais por meio da organização de uma Feira de Ciências. A pesquisa justifica-se pela necessidade de refletir sobre práticas que favoreçam a inserção da cultura científica no cotidiano escolar desde os primeiros anos da educação básica, despertando nos alunos o interesse pela investigação, pela observação e pela construção de saberes contextualizados. Diante disso, o problema que orienta esta investigação é: de que maneira uma Feira de Ciências pode favorecer a inserção da cultura científica no cotidiano escolar dos anos iniciais? Espera-se que esta iniciativa contribua para ampliar o olhar sobre as potencialidades das Feiras de Ciências como instrumentos de alfabetização científica e formação cidadã.

  • Abstract: This article aims to analyze the potential of Science Fairs as a relevant strategy for promoting and disseminating scientific culture within the early years of elementary education. The methodology is based on a bibliographic review and the analysis of official documents related to the theme, in addition to reporting a pedagogical experience conducted with early years classes through the organization of a Science Fair. The research is justified by the need to reflect on practices that foster the integration of scientific culture into the daily life of schools from the early years of basic education, awakening students' interest in investigation, observation, and the construction of contextualized knowledge. Based on this, the guiding question of this study is: how can a Science Fair contribute to the integration of scientific culture into the school routine of early elementary students? It is expected that this initiative will broaden the perspective on the potential of Science Fairs as tools for scientific literacy and citizenship education.
