A ESPETACULARIZAÇÃO MIDIÁTICA DE CRIMES: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O CASO SUZANE VON RICHTHOFEN
A mídia aborda crimes violentos acontecidos na sociedade, mas frequentemente
utiliza do sensacionalismo nas notícias, buscando o interesse do leitor. Com esse
comportamento, atinge direitos e garantias das pessoas envolvidas na atividade
criminosa, entrando em conflito com o princípio da presunção de inocência, com os
direitos da personalidade e, ainda, com o direito a proteção contra o sensacionalismo.
A partir da análise de referencial teórico, este trabalho irá discutir os conflitos jurídicos
com o sensacionalismo midiático, o risco à imparcialidade do juiz, a exposição como
óbice para a reintegração social e a difusão do sentimento de medo e injustiça.
Objetivamos discutir a influência midiática na abordagem de casos criminais,
confrontando a atuação da imprensa com os prejuízos causados no âmbito criminal.
Como grande exemplo deste contexto, será tratado o Caso Suzane Von Richthofen,
jovem de classe média que junto com o namorado e o cunhado arquitetou a morte dos
pais, amplamente divulgado na imprensa nacional e internacional.

Abstract:
The media approaches violent crimes in society, but often uses sensationalism in the
News, seeking the interest of the reader. With this behavior, reaches rights and
guarantees of persons involved in criminal activity, coming into conflict with the
principle of the presumption of innocence, with the rights of the personality and, still,
with the right to protection from sensationalism. From the theoretical reference
analysis, this paper will discuss legal conflicts with media sensationalism, the risk to
the impartiality of the judge, the exposure as an obstacle to social reintegration and
the diffusion of feelings of fear and injustice. We aim to discuss media influence in the
approach to criminal cases, confronting the work of the press with the damages caused
in the criminal scope. As a great example of this context, will be treated the Suzane
Von Richthofen Case’s, middle-class young woman who, together with her boyfriend
and brother-in-law, architect the death of her parents, widely published in the national
and international press. -
