A ESCOLA SÃO JOÃO DO TAUAPE
A congregação dos padres Missionários do Sagrado Coração da Igreja Católica chegou no bairro São João do Tauape no ano de 1951. O presente trabalho mostra um pouco da história da escola São João do Tauape desde a sua fundação no de 1952 até o ano de 1967, que ofereceu uma excelente educação aos seus alunos de baixa renda e passou depois a ser dirigida pelo governo do estado do Ceará no ano de 1967 e está até hoje. Conclui-se que o colégio dos padres da congregação dos Missionários do Sagrado Coração da Igreja Católica no bairro São João do Tauape teve uma grande importância para o bairro e que deixou se ser dirigido pelos sacerdotes devido à falta de vocações sacerdotais na congregação. Hoje a escola depois de 78 anos vem sendo um colégio público de nome Escola de Ensino Fundamental e Médio Noel Hugnen de Oliveira Paiva e continua educando alunos de baixa renda no bairro São João do Tauape, na cidade de Fortaleza no estado do Ceará.

Abstract:
The congregation of the Sacred Heart Missionary Fathers of the Catholic Church arrived in the São João do Tauape neighborhood in 1951. The present work shows a little of the history of the São João do Tauape school from its foundation in 1952 until the year 1967, which offered an excellent education to its low-income students and was later directed by the state government of Ceará in the year 1967 and is still today. It is concluded that the college of the priests of the congregation of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of the Catholic Church in the São João do Tauape neighborhood had a great importance for the neighborhood and that it stopped being run by the priests due to the lack of priestly vocations in the congregation. Today, after 78 years, the school has been a public school named Noel Hugnen de Oliveira Paiva Elementary and High School and continues to educate low-income students in the São João do Tauape neighborhood, in the city of Fortaleza in the state of Ceará.
