A ESCOLA ATUAL E A RESPONSABILIDADE DA FORMAÇÃO DO CIDADÃO CRÍTICO E SOCIAL
O artigo a seguir destaca como o contexto histórico e político do Brasil, levou a educação ao patamar atual, sem sua devida importância perante a sociedade, assim como desvalorização do educador e a falta de investimento em infraestrutura. Através de pesquisa textual e análise de dados, o objetivo deste trabalho e trazer alguns autores e fatos que demonstram que a mudança desta realidade que está aquém do ideal é possível. O resultado destas pesquisas nos remete que é possível sim resgatar o verdadeiro papel da educação - criar o cidadão crítico, cooperativo, preparado para viver em sociedade e para escolher o seu papel dentro da sociedade - isto, através de metodologias libertadoras e da definição dos principais responsáveis por esta mudança, que através deste trabalho concluiu-se que é o poder público – através de políticas e investimentos – e o educador.

Abstract:
The present study highlights Brazil’s historical and political context has taken education to the current level, without its due importance to society, as well as a devaluation of the educator and lack of investment in infrastructure. Through textual research and data analysis, the aim of this paper is to show some authors and facts that demonstrate a change of this reality wich is below the ideal is possible. The conclusion of this research reminds us that it is possible to rescue education’s true role - to create a critical and cooperative citizen, prepared to live in society and also to choose their role within society - through inovative methodologies and the definition of the main responsible for this change, which through this work is concluded to be the government - through politcs and investments - and the educator.
