Abstract: This is a qualitative study using the oral history method. The objective was to evaluate the implementation of treatment in schizophrenic patients by a multidisciplinary team at a Psychiatric Clinic in Brasília – DF. Among the most well-known mental disorders is schizophrenia, characterized by the presence of hallucinations, continuous delusions, difficulty in connecting ideas, and inappropriate laughter. Participants in the research included members of the multidisciplinary team, whose names were replaced with fictitious names related to European countries, as follows: France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. Knowledge of appropriate practices for providing care to schizophrenic patients is of paramount importance for the healthcare team. The market for professionals in this field is facing an increasing deficit, as the challenges in this specialization remain quite evident. This study highlights the inseparable connection between humanization, the multidisciplinary team, and mental health.
