A ENFERMAGEM NO ÂMBITO DO SUS: UMA ABORDAGEM SOBRE O TRABALHO NA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19
A enfermagem é uma profissão fundamental para a garantia dos serviços de atenção à saúde no Sistema Único de Saúde, sobretudo durante a pandemia mundial da COVID-19 onde houve importante sobrecarga do sistema de saúde pública e dos recursos humanos. O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi destacar o trabalho da enfermagem no âmbito do SUS durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Tratou-se de um estudo do tipo revisão da literatura, cujos dados foram obtidos a partir das bases científicas SCIELO, LILACS, Google Acadêmico e Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde, utilizando artigos completos, publicados em português no período 2020 a 2022. Observou-se que a enfermagem esteve diante de constante exposição ao risco biológico na assistência a saúde de pessoas com SARS-COV-2. A desigualdade das condições de trabalho no âmbito hospitalar também foi recorrente, bem como manifestações de insegurança diante do momento de tensão vivido pelos profissionais de enfermagem. A falta de insumos materiais como EPI’s foi responsável por um alto índice de contaminação entre os profissionais de saúde. Concluiu-se que o protagonismo da enfermagem é evidenciado na literatura como trabalho essencial para o controle e prevenção da disseminação do vírus, além de destacar o foco e a liderança do enfermeiro que foi de suma importância para a produção do cuidado com eficiência e excelência na assistência de pacientes com COVID-19.

Abstract:
Nursing is a fundamental profession for guaranteeing health care services in the Unified Health System, especially during the global COVID-19 pandemic, where there was a significant overload on the public health system and human resources. The objective of this research was to highlight the work of nursing within the SUS during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a literature review study, whose data were obtained from the scientific bases SCIELO, LILACS, Google Scholar and the Virtual Health Library, using complete articles, published in Portuguese in the period 2020 to 2022. It was observed that nursing was faced with constant exposure to biological risk in health care for people with SARS-VOC-2. The inequality of working conditions in the hospital environment was also recurrent, as well as manifestations of insecurity in the face of the moment of tension experienced by nursing professionals. The lack of material inputs such as PPE was responsible for a high rate of contamination among health professionals. It is concluded that the role of nursing is evidenced in the literature as an essential work for the control and prevention of the spread of the virus, in addition to highlighting the focus and leadership of the nurse, who was of paramount importance for the production of care with efficiency and excellence in care of patients with COVID-19.
