A ENFERMAGEM E O CUIDADO HUMANIZADO AO INDIVÍDUO EM SOFRIMENTO MENTAL

A reforma psiquiátrica brasileira

é um movimento histórico de características

política, social e econômica, no qual a

humanização do cuidado é prática ostensiva

da enfermagem. Objetivou-se identificar como

os enfermeiros incorporam características

do cuidado humanizado junto ao indivíduo

em sofrimento mental. Revisão integrativa da

literatura na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, nos

bancos de dados LILACS, SciELO e BDEnf.

A amostra constituiu-se de onze artigos.

Os resultados apontaram que no passado

os cuidados oferecidos eram pautados na

lógica assistencial da institucionalização e

medicalização excessiva, sendo o enfermeiro

pivô para a implementação dos serviços

substitutivos, transpondo novos desafios e

estabelecendo dignidade e individualidade ao

usuário em sofrimento mental. Os profissionais

precisam desenvolver competências

relacionadas à escuta qualificada e criatividade

nas práticas cotidianas. Assim, tanto o serviço

substitutivo, quanto a atenção primária tem um

grande desafio ao vislumbrar a complexidade

do atendimento humanizado ao indivíduo nessa

situação.

Abstract:
Brazilian psychiatric reform

is a historical movement of political, social

and economic characteristics, where the

humanization of care is the ostensible practice

of nursing. The objective was to identify how

nurses incorporate characteristics of humanized care with the individual in mental suffering. Integrative literature review in the Virtual

Health Library, in the LILACS, SciELO and BDEnf databases. The sample consisted

of eleven articles. The results pointed out in the past the care offered were based

on the care logic of institutionalization and excessive medicalization, being the nurse

pivot for the implementation of substitutive services, transposing new challenges and

establishing dignity and individuality to the user in mental suffering. Professionals need

to develop skills related to qualified listening and creativity in everyday practices. Thus,

both the substitutive service and primary care have a great challenge in seeing the

complexity of humanized care for the individual in this situation
