A EMPRESA INDUSTRIAL CONTEMPORÂNEA E OS DESAFIOS PARA CONSTRUÇÃO DE UMA TEORIA DA FIRMA INOVADORA
O objetivo do presente estudo é apresentar os desafios é construir uma teoria da firma para explicar a empresa industrial contemporânea, comprometida com o processo de crescimento econômico, em que, segundo Schumpeter, a inovação tem um papel central. A partir da revisão da literatura, observa-se que a possibilidade de interação entre a firma e o ambiente que a cerca torna a firma um agente ativo e não apenas reativo a mudanças externas. Ademais, a firma deve ser compreendida diante de um contexto dinâmico, e não como um dado invariante da natureza humana, como um fato cotidiano e banal da experiência, que remete para um a priori não histórico independente do tempo e do contexto social.

Abstract:
The aim of the present study is to present the challenges in building a firm theory to explain the contemporary industrial enterprise, committed to the process of economic growth, in which, according to Schumpeter, innovation plays a central role. From the literature review, it is observed that the possibility of interaction between the firm and the surrounding environment makes the firm an active agent and not just reactive to external changes. Moreover, the firm must be understood in the face of a dynamic context, and not as an invariant datum of human nature, as a daily and trivial fact of experience, which refers to a non-historical a priori independent of time and social context.
