A EMANCIPAÇÃO DA MULHER NA OBRA “A DIVORCIADA”, DE FRANCISCA CLOTILDE
Diante de uma sociedade que se quer cogitava a ideia de uma separação conjugal, a cearense Francisca Clotilde, em 1902, escreve a obra “A Divorciada”. Sendo a pioneira a abordar o assunto, a autora causou assaz repercussão diante da sociedade cearense da época, pois a lei do divorcio só passou a ser vigorada, no Brasil, em 1977. O romance narra a história de Nazaré, que após ficar enferma e ter que ser levada para o interior para revitalizar sua saúde, acaba se apaixonando por Chiquinho, um matuto do povoado, mas não poderia ser desposada, pois já estava prometida ao primo bacharel, Arthur Pedrosa. Dessa forma, após muito lutar pelo seu casamento e ter consciência de ser uma obra perdida, Nazaré, separa-se, resigna-se e casa-se novamente, só que desta vez, com o homem que sempre amou, Chiquinho. Destarte, o presente trabalho objetiva demonstrar a emancipação da mulher diante de uma sociedade machista, analisando o poder que o patriarcado exercia na vida de esposas e filhas. Possuindo caráter bibliográfico e descritivo, se vale da leitura de autores como: Xavier (1998), Silva (2016), Montenegro (1953) entre outros.

Abstract:
In the face of a society that wanted to consider the idea of a conjugal separation, Francisca Clotilde, from Ceará, wrote the work "The Divorced" in 1902. Being the pioneer to approach the subject, the author caused a lot of repercussion before the Ceará society of the time, because the divorce law only came into force in Brazil in 1977. The novel tells the story of Nazaré, who, after becoming ill and having to be taken inland to revitalize her health, ended up falling in love with Chiquinho, a village boy, but she couldn't be married, as she was already promised to her cousin, Arthur Pedrosa. Thus, after much struggle for her marriage and being aware of being a lost work, Nazaré, separates, resigns and marries again, only this time, with the man she always loved, Chiquinho. Therefore, this work aims to demonstrate the emancipation of women in the face of a macho society, analyzing the power that patriarchy exercised in the lives of wives and daughters. Possessing a bibliographic and descriptive character, it is worth reading authors such as: Xavier (1998), Silva (2016), Montenegro (1953) among others.
