A EDUCAÇÃO POPULAR COMO ELEMENTO PARA O TRABALHO DE ASSISTENTES SOCIAIS

RESUMO: O presente artigo procura contribuir com o diálogo sobre a Educação Popular enquanto elemento político pedagógico ao somar-se no cotidiano das e dos assistentes sociais, seja no lugar do trabalho profissional ou na integração da categoria com as lutas e a organização dos movimentos sociais no Brasil. Estes elementos articulados são importantes para enfrentar os desafios apresentados no atual contexto ultra neoliberal, onde se ampliam as mazelas vivenciadas pela população atendida nos diversos espaços sócio ocupacionais.

  • Abstract: ABSTRACT: This article seeks to contribute to the dialogue on Popular Education as a political pedagogical element by adding to the daily lives of social workers, whether in the place of professional work or in the integration of the category with the struggles and organization of social movements in Brazil. . These elements added are important to face the challenges presented in the current ultra-neoliberal context, where the problems experienced by the population served in different socio-occupational spaces are increasing.
