O objeto de pesquisa deste artigo

é a formação inicial de professores no ensino

superior (curso de pedagogia e licenciaturas)

diante da onda neoconservadora. As questões

que permeiam as reflexões nele colocadas são:

Como afirmar princípios freirianos na formação

de professores no ensino superior num

contexto de crescente onda neoconservadora?

Quais contribuições a afirmação dos princípios

freirianos traz para a formação de professores

no ensino superior (pedagogia e licenciaturas)?

A teoria crítica é o modelo teórico utilizado como

fundamentação. A abordagem metodológica

utilizada na reflexão e na prática aqui descrita

foi a mediação crítica sobre o assunto com

um público diferenciado e participativo. As

categorias principais que permeiam o artigo

são resistência, conscientização e coletividade,

na teoria freiriana, como alternativas à onda

neoliberal. Como resultado, é possível concluir

que o aprofundamento do estudo na teoria

freiriana promove uma formação humanista nos

alunos do ensino superior que, no momento,

se preparam para exercer a função docente

e, dessa forma, busca engajá-los na luta

permanente contra a opressão.

Abstract:
The research object of this article

is the initial formation of teachers in higher

education (pedagogy course and undergraduate

courses) in the face of the neoconservative wave.

The questions that permeate the reflections

posed in it are: How to affirm Freirean principles

in teacher education in higher education in a

context of growing neoconservative wave?

What contributions does the affirmation of

Freire's principles bring to teacher education in

higher education (pedagogy and undergraduate

degrees)? Critical theory is the theoretical model

used as a foundation. The methodological

approach used in the reflection and practice

described here was the critical mediation on the

subject with a differentiated and participatory

audience. The main categories that permeate

the article are resistance, awareness and

collectivity, in Freire's theory, as alternatives to the neoliberal wave. As a result, it is

possible to conclude that the deepening of the study in Freire's theory promotes a

humanistic formation in the students of the higher education that, at the moment, are

preparing to exercise the teaching function and, thus, seeks to engage them in the

permanent fight against the oppression.
