A EDUCAÇÃO EM DIREITOS HUMANOS NA FORMAÇÃO DE PEDAGOGOS: ESTUDO COMPARADO EM UNIVERSIDADES PÚBLICAS BRASILEIRAS

O presente estudo objetiva compreender o processo de inserção da

educação em direitos humanos na formação de pedagogos nas instituições de

educação superior brasileiras. A abordagem qualitativa, o método comparado e a

análise documental dos projetos pedagógicos, dos currículos e das ementas das

disciplinas dos cursos de Pedagogia subsidiaram o estudo proposto. A pesquisa

contemplou cinco universidades, uma por região brasileira, utilizando-se como

critério a antiguidade do curso de Pedagogia: UFRJ, UFPR, UFBA, UFPA e UnB. A

análise comparada permitiu a identificação de dois tipos de orientação para a

inserção da educação em direitos humanos no processo de formação de pedagogos:

a perspectiva da diversidade e da diferença humana, organizadas na forma

disciplinar e transdisciplinar.

Abstract:
This study aims to understand the process of insertion of human rights

education in the training of pedagogues in Brazilian higher education institutions. The

qualitative approach, the comparative method and the documentary analysis of the

pedagogical projects, the curricula and the menus of the Pedagogy courses

subsidized the proposed study. The research included five universities, one per

Brazilian region, using as a criterion the antiquity of the Pedagogy course: UFRJ,

UFPR, UFBA, UFPA and UnB. The comparative analysis allowed the identification of

two types of orientation for the insertion of human rights education in the process of

teacher education: the perspective of diversity and human difference, organized in a

disciplinary and transdisciplinary way.
