A Educação do Imaginário Subsidiando o Desenvolvimento Cognitivo
Desde os tempos mais remotos o imaginário foi tema de grande atenção pelas mais diversas áreas, mesmo tendo diversas denominações conforme o tempo, podemos ver que intelectuais do mais alto nível dedicaram obras em relação ao tema do imaginário e de seu desenvolvimento junto com o horizonte de consciência, entre eles temos desde a filosofia grega, Sócrates, Platão e Aristóteles, passando pela Filosofia medieval patrística e escolástica, com Santo Agostinho e Hugo de São Victor e na modernidade diversos autores como Gilbert Durand, Carl Gustav Jung, Roger Scruton, Russell Kirk, G.K Chesterton, Northrop Frye e muitos outros.
Com base nestes e em outros autores, podemos fazer esta pesquisa, da qual demonstramos a tamanha importância do imaginário em qualquer educação. Desta forma, baseando-se na educação das artes clássicas liberais e moderna, fazemos uma relação entre a educação do imaginário e o desenvolvimento cognitivo.
Centramo-nos no desenvolvimento do imaginário através da cultura literária, mostrando que está nos traz inúmeros benefícios, assim, não apenas nos coloca em mundo cultural mais amplo aumentando o nosso horizonte de consciência, mas também nos dá maior desenvolvimento cognitivo através da prática intelectual, e, com isso, prepara-nos aos estudos das áreas cientificas e estudos pessoais que possamos seguir. Esta pesquisa visa analisar a influência do desenvolvimento da educação do imaginário que, seguindo esta base, relacionamos um imaginário que ao desenvolver-se, ao mesmo tempo, subsidia o desenvolvimento cognitivo.

Abstract:
Since remote times the imaginary has been theme of many areas. Despite the many denominations through the times, it is possible to see that high level intelectual individuals dedicated works to the imaginary and its development of consciousness horizon.
We have among them, from the ancient greek filosophy: Socrates, Plato, Aristotle; passing through the medieval patristic and scholastic filosophy: Saint Augustine and Hugo of Saint Victor. At modern times we have many authors like Gilbert Durand, Carl Gustav Jung, Roger Scruton, Russell Kirk, G.K Chesterton, Northrop Frye and many others.
Having as base this authors and others, we can make this research, from which we can demonstrate the great importance of the imaginary in every education. In this case, having as base the clasic liberal art and modern art education we make a connection between the education of the imaginary and the cognitive development.
We focus in the development of the imaginary through the artistic and literal culture that brings many benefits, this way, not only puts us in a more wide cultural world expanding our horizon of consciousness but also gives us more cognitive development through the intelectual practice, and, with that prepares us to the scientific and personal studies that we may go in the future. This research aims to the analysis and development of the education of the imaginary. Following this idea, we can relate the development of the imaginary to the cognitive development.
