A EDUCAÇÃO COMO NECESSÁRIA À DEMOCRACIA
O estudo tem o objetivo de indicar o compromisso da educação com a formação do indivíduo para a constituição da democracia. A construção do texto tomou o fio condutor através da questão de como a educação pode contribuir para existência das relações democráticas na organização da sociedade. Tem como caminho metodológico a revisão bibliográfica mediante o estudo teórico dos autores John Dewey, Ivan Illich, Humberto Maturana. A instalação da escola esteve a serviço do ensinar e converter os ignorantes, porém com poucas evidências quanto aos critérios da formação democrática.

Abstract:
The study aims to indicate the commitment of education to the formation of the individual for the constitution of democracy. The construction of the text took the guiding thread through the question of how education can contribute to the existence of democratic relations in the organization of society. Its methodological path is the bibliographic review through the theoretical study of the authors John Dewey, Ivan Illich, Humberto Maturana. The installation of the school was at the service of teaching and converting the ignorant, but with little evidence regarding the criteria of democratic formation.
