A DOCUMENTARY REVIEW OF THE INTEGRATION OF FAITH IN TEACHING AND LEARNING IN AN ADVENTIST SCHOOL
Uno de los grandes objetivos que sostiene la educación, dentro de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, es preparar al estudiante para vivir una vida completa, promover el crecimiento personal de acuerdo a la fe bíblica y, simultáneamente, prepararlo en disciplinas académicas en su proceso de formación. En este marco, integrar la fe en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje se torna en un elemento importante y su verificación del cumplimiento de ella permitirá tomar decisiones al respecto. Por lo que, el trabajo de investigación desarrollado permite obtener una mirada más allá de las conjeturas. Específicamente se concentra en 3 dimensiones: conocimiento, actitud y práctica en la integración de la fe en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de los colegios adventistas.
Desde la mirada de varios autores se desprende que la integración de la fe abarca varias dimensiones que involucran al estudiante, docente, personal administrativo y el entorno. Se destacan aspectos como: un proceso intencional, mental, sistemático donde el estudiante aprende a integrar aprendizajes académicos con su fe y el docente instila la fe a través de sus relaciones y su pedagogía, y finalmente es un regalo de Dios para el hombre con el fin de restaurar en el estudiante la imagen de su Creador.

Abstract:
One of the great objectives that support education, in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is to prepare students to live a complete life, to promote personal growth according to biblical faith, and simultaneously, prepare them in academic disciplines in their formation process. In this framework, integrating faith in the teaching-learning process becomes an important element, and its verification of compliance with it'll allow decisions to be made in this regard. Therefore, the research work developed allows to obtain a look beyond conjectures. Specifically, it focuses on 3 dimensions: knowledge, attitude, and practice in integrating faith into teaching and learning in Adventist schools.
From the viewpoint of several authors, it follows that faith integration encompasses several dimensions that involve students, teachers, administrative staff, and the environment. Aspects such as an intentional, mental, systematic process, where the student learns to integrate academic learning with his faith and the teacher instills faith through his relationships and his pedagogy are highlighted, and finally, it's a gift from God to a man with the end order to restore in the student the image of his Creator.
