A DIVERSIDADE CULTURAL PELO OLHAR KAINGANG
A complexidade nas relações
sociais nos remete à necessidade da promoção
da diversidade cultural que no Brasil foi
negada por séculos. Grupos culturais distintos
foram aculturados por um mesmo discurso
hegemônico, o da supremacia branca europeia
que formou em todos uma única visão de mundo,
enfraquecendo e marginalizando as diferentes
culturas com suas visões próprias. Isto ocorreu
mediante discursos impostos de forma sutil na
sociedade brasileira e que formou a consciência
étnica sobre todo o território brasileiro, o que
levou ao enfraquecimento de culturas indígenas
fazendo-as olhar o mundo e a si pelo olhar da
cultura europeia. Assim, este trabalho discute o
olhar da cultura Kaingang sobre a diversidade
étnica cultural. O trabalho foi realizado com
lideranças da reserva indígena Xapecó no
município de Ipuaçu - Santa Catarina.

Abstract:
The complexity in social relations
brings us to the need to promote cultural diversity
that in Brazil has been denied for centuries.
Distinct cultural groups were acculturated by the
same hegemonic discourse, that of European
white supremacy that formed in them all a
single worldview, weakening and marginalizing
the different cultures with their own views. This
occurred through discourses subtly imposed on
Brazilian society and which formed the ethnic
awareness of the entire Brazilian territory, which
led to the weakening of indigenous cultures
making them look at the world and themselves
through the look of European culture. Thus, this
paper discusses the view of Kaingang culture on
cultural ethnic diversity. The work was carried out
with leaders of the Xapecó indigenous reserve
in the municipality of Ipuaçu - Santa Catarina.
