A CULTURA MAKER NO JAPÃO: UM ESTUDO A PARTIR DOS DOCUMENTOS OFICIAIS DO MINISTÉRIO DA EDUCAÇÃO E INICIATIVAS FEITAS NOS FAB LAB
O presente texto buscou identificar a presença da cultura maker dentro do contexto escolar japonês. Para a sua fundamentação, foram feitos recortes do currículo prescrito contidos nos sites institucionais do Ministério da Educação, da Cultura, dos Esportes, da Ciência e da Tecnologia (MEXT), artigos e blogs de autores que abordam a relação entre TDIC e currículo e opiniões dos membros do Fab Lab Japan. Os dados foram analisados à luz dos referenciais que tratam da cultura maker e tecnologias na educação. Os resultados preliminares indicam que, embora os Fab Labs tragam experiências exitosas, há pouca aderência da cultura maker nas escolas japonesas atuais. Um dos obstáculos encontrados refere-se à pouca utilização da linguagem de programação nas escolas.

Abstract:
The present text sought to identify the presence of the maker culture within the Japanese school context. For its foundation, clippings of the prescribed curriculum were made contained on the institutional websites of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), articles and blogs by authors that address the relationship between TDIC and curriculum and opinions of Fab Lab Japan members. The data were analyzed in the light of the references that deal with the maker culture and technologies in education. The preliminary results indicate that, although the Fab Labs bring successful experiences, there is little adherence from the maker culture in today's Japanese schools. One of the obstacles encountered refers to the little use of programming language in schools.
