A Cultura Do Sol Nascente nas Terras Capixabas
O artigo aborda as tradições da
comunidade japonesa no Espírito Santo, o
início da associação Nikkei e a sua rotina, como
festivais, cursos de língua, esporte e eventos
que envolvem os associados. Apresenta
alguns personagens importantes na imigração
japonesa no estado por meio da história oral,
que também foi utilizada para entender a cultura,
através de entrevistas com diferentes gerações,
mostrando o ponto de vista de cada um sobre
as tradições e costumes do Brasil, país em que
decidiram se estabelecer. O trabalho também
pretende ilustrar alguns dos principais aspectos
culturais da comunidade, externados a partir de
eventos promovidos pela instituição.

Abstract:
This paper proposes a study about
the Japanese traditions in the state of Espírito
Santo, the beginning of the Nikkei Association
and its routine, such as festivals, language
courses, sports and events that involve the
associates. Introducing some important
characters in the Japanese immigration in the
state through oral history, that was also used
to understand culture through interviews with
different generations, showing their views about
Brazilian traditions and customs, a country
where they decided to establish themselves.
This paper also aims to show some of the main
cultural aspects of said community externalized
through the events promoted by the Association.
