Abstract: Digital culture has profoundly transformed the ways of communication, social interaction and knowledge production, directly influencing educational contexts from the earliest years of schooling. In Early Childhood Education, the increasingly frequent presence of digital devices in children's daily lives raises reflections on the potentialities and limitations of using these technologies in educational processes. In this context, this study aims to analyze the possibilities and challenges of digital culture in Early Childhood Education, considering its contributions to child development and the necessary care for its pedagogical use. This is a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach, developed through the analysis of books, scientific articles, normative documents and academic productions that discuss the relationship between childhood, education and digital technologies. The study is based on the theoretical contributions of authors such as Kenski, Lévy, Moran, Bacich, Valente and Silva, in addition to official documents such as the National Common Curricular Base. The results show that digital culture can promote creativity, interaction, language expansion and meaningful learning when used in a planned manner and mediated by teachers. However, challenges related to excessive screen use, teacher training, inequalities in access and impacts on child development are also highlighted. It is concluded that the integration of digital technologies in Early Childhood Education should occur in a balanced, critical and intentional way, preserving playful experiences, social interactions and the child's integral development.
