A CONSTRUÇÃO DO NACIONAL EM NÓS MATAMOS O CÃO TINHOSO E VIDAS SECAS
O escopo desta pesquisa é identificar a construção do nacional, buscando pontos de intersecção e dialogismos, nas narrativas Nós matamos o Cão tinhoso, conto do moçambicano Luís Bernardo Honwana, e Vidas Secas, romance regionalista de Graciliano Ramos. Partindo do viés crítico social apresentado em ambas as narrativas, objetiva-se traçar um paralelo. Este estudo, que compara literaturas, justifica-se pela relevância de conhecer a capacidade da arte literária representar realidades, em diferentes espaços, evidenciando aspectos sociais e políticos. Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa, utilizaram-se estudos bibliográficos. O trabalho tem como corpus as obras em análise e ampara-se em teorias como Carvalhal (2006), Candido (1995), Bakhtin (2008), Abdala Jr. (1995).

Abstract:
This paper aims to identify the construction of the national identity and the spirit of belonging of a Nation, looking for points of intersection and dialogisms in the narratives Nós matamos o Cão Tinhoso (We killed Mangy Dog), a mozambican tale by Luís Bernardo Honwana and Vidas Secas (Barren Lives), a regionalist novel by Graciliano Ramos. To accomplish the proposed objective we have drawn a parallel starting off from studying the critical bias social presented in both narratives. This research, which compares literatures, justifies itself by the relevance of knowing the capacity of the literary art of representing realities, in different spaces, emphasizing social and political aspects. For the development of this research, bibliographic studies were used. The paper relies on the works under analysis and theories such as: Tânia Franco Carvalhal (2006), Candido (1995), Bakhtin (2008), Abdala Jr. (1995).
