Abstract:
The sense of not belonging is the central theme of Dulce Maria Cardoso’s Os meus sentimentos. The aim is to investigate how the narrative instance corroborates the construction of the theme of sense of not belonging in the novel. Therefore, it is used the theories of Nefatalin Gonçalves Neto and Angela Gama; George Mead (theory organized by Charles Morris); Gérard Genette; Walter Benjamin and Maria Célia Leonel.
