Este trabalho busca apresentar e

discutir algumas das experiências de promoção,

construção do conhecimento e articulação da

agroecologia no Sertão do São Francisco, Baiano

e Pernambucano, a partir das ações ligadas à

Rede Territorial de Agroecologia do Sertão do

São Francisco PE/BA que articula diferentes

instituições, organizações e movimentos

sociais. Pretende-se analisar um conjunto de

ações, seus princípios e fundamentos com vista

a avaliar as contribuições destas no contexto

do fortalecimento da agroecologia e de seus

protagonistas no contexto da ‘convivência com

o semiárido’ e do ‘desenvolvimento territorial’.

Análises iniciais permitem compreender que a

crescente articulação em rede e a capacidade

de articulação entre diferentes agentes

sociais têm contribuído para consolidação da

Agroecologia e do paradigma de Convivência

com o Semiárido nos territórios de atuação da

Rede.

Abstract:
This work aims to present and

discuss some of the experiences of promoting,

building knowledge and articulating agroecology

in the São Francisco, Sertão Baiano e

Pernambucano, based on the actions linked to

the Agroecology Territorial Network PE/BA that

articulate institutions, organizations and social

movements. It’s intended to analyze a set of

actions, its principles and foundations in order

to evaluate their contributions in the context of

strengthening agroecology and its protagonists

in the context of the Coexistence with the SemiMeio

Arid and territorial development. Initial analyzes allow us to evaluate that the growing

network articulation and the capacity for articulation between different social agents

and consolidation of Agroecology and the paradigm of Coexistence with the Semiarid

within the territory of the network.
