A CONCEPÇÃO DE NATUREZA EM GOETHE
Este trabalho tem por objetivo investigar a concepção de natureza em Goethe e apontar alguns dos elementos que compõem tal concepção. Para realizar tal intento, recorreremos a uma pesquisa bibliográfica que tem como referência básica o romance de Goethe intitulado Os sofrimentos do Jovem Werther. Além disto, foram consultados outros textos deste autor com o intuito de se delinear uma relação de sua obra em torno do tema a ser estudado. Também serão utilizadas obras de estudiosos de Goethe como suporte teórico. Esperamos assim, construir uma interpretação em torno de um dos temas centrais do pensamento goethiano: a natureza. A concepção de natureza goethiana foi construída a partir da visão de mundo deste autor, tal concepção perpassa grande parte de seus escritos. Nestes, a natureza se apresenta como uma totalidade orgânica e viva, uma força poética que constrói suas obras a partir da fantasia. Tal concepção destoa da concepção de natureza mecânica presente em grande parte da modernidade, principalmente no período iluminista. Goethe concebe, então, as forças naturais como sendo dotadas de criatividade. Esta natureza poética só pode ser abordada por outro espírito igualmente poético. Assim o observador do mundo natural deve despertar as forças criativas do seu ser para assim manter um intenso contato com a natureza. Esta relação entre indivíduo e natureza também é um elemento recorrente nos textos de Goethe e parece demonstrar que, nesta perspectiva, a natureza só se revela para aquele que escuta a seu chamado, pois como é dito por este autor “todo o saber e ciência não podem acuá-la”

Abstract:
This work aims to investigate the conception of nature in Goethe and to point out some of the elements that make up such a conception. To make such an attempt, we will turn to a bibliographical research that has as basic reference the novel of Goethe titled The sufferings of Young Werther. In addition, other texts of this author were consulted with the intention of outlining a relation of his work around the subject to be studied. Also works of Goethe scholars will be used as theoretical support. We thus hope to construct an interpretation around one of the central themes of Goethian thought, the nature. The conception of Goethian nature was built from the world view of this author, such conception runs through much of his writings. In these, nature presents itself as an organic and living totality, a poetic force that builds its works from fantasy. Such a conception distorts the conception of mechanical nature present in much of modernity, especially in the Enlightenment period. Goethe conceives, then, the natural forces as being endowed with creativity. This poetic nature can only be approached by another equally poetic spirit. Thus the observer of the natural world must awaken the creative forces of his being in order to maintain an intense contact with nature. This relation between individual and nature is also a recurrent element in Goethe's texts and seems to demonstrate that, from this perspective, nature reveals itself only to the one who listens to its call, for as it is said by this author "all knowledge and science can not arrest it"
