Este artigo tem o objetivo de
problematizar a atuação da Comissão de
Saneamento e Profilaxia Rural da Paraíba
(1920-1930), em suas dimensões sociais
e políticas, observando suas repercussões
na sociedade e nos bastidores da política
paraibana. Assim, abordaremos os limites do
processo institucionalização da Comissão de
Saneamento e Profilaxia Rural da Paraíba
em termos de serviços, estrutura e formas de
atuação na sociedade.

Abstract:
This article aims to discuss the
work of the Commission for Rural Sanitation
and Prophylaxis of Paraíba (1920-1930), in its
social and political dimensions, remarking its
repercussion in society and behind the scenes
of Paraíba policy. Thus, we will approach
the limits of the institutionalization process
of the Commission for Rural Sanitation and
Prophylaxis of Paraíba in terms of services,
structure and the ways of acting in society.
