A cidade delas
O presente artigo trata da relação da mulher com a cidade e do advento de movimentos feministas e seu vínculo com o espaço urbano. Em uma luta histórica a favor da participação da mulher na esfera pública, o movimento feminista igualmente denunciou, por meio de seus discursos e ações, a falta do direito à cidade sofrida pelas mulheres, especialmente às que estão a margem do território. Apoiado nisso, são refletidas tais demandas urbanas através do planejamento urbano participativo, demonstrando-se, assim, fundamental a representação das mulheres nesse processo e sua organização social, a fim de que seja abordada a escala de gênero no urbanismo.

Abstract:
This article deals with the relationship between women and the city, therefore the advent of feminist movements and their link with the urban space. In a historic struggle in favor of women's participation in the public sphere, the feminist movement also denounced, through its speeches and actions, the lack of the right to the city suffered by women, especially those on the border of the urban territory. Based on this, such urban demands are reflected through participatory urban planning, thus demonstrating that the representation of women in this process and their social organization is fundamental, in order to address the gender scale in urbanism.
