A-CERCA DA MULHER NA MÚSICA POPULAR BRASILEIRA: PERMANÊNCIAS? DESCONTINUIDADES?
Sob uma perspectiva relacional, segundo a qual a arte antecipa transformações por meio de sua capacidade de propagar novos discursos e práticas discursivas, o presente artigo utiliza de achados de estudo de casos sobre a representação da mulher na música popular brasileira para explorar o papel relacional engendrado por compositores, interpretes e veículos de difusão na transição da 1ª para a 2ª ondas do movimento feminista, no Brasil. As letras investigadas foram agrupadas em três fatores - imprevisibilidade, objetificidade e idealidade - sustentados pela oscilação das representações face aos diferentes momentos históricos em que emergem. Como resultado foi possível apreender o protagonismo - individual e coletivo -, a construção de espaços de fala bem como a relevância de novas mídias nas estratégias de descontinuidade e ou de estabelecimento de novas agendas discursivas.

Abstract:
From a relational perspective according to which art anticipates and corroborates transformations through its ability to propagate new discourses and discursive practices, this paper uses the findings of a case study on the representation of women in Brazilian popular music to explore the relational role engendered by songwriters, performers and dissemination media in the transition from the first to the second waves of the feminist movement. Lyrics were grouped into three factors - unpredictability, objectificity and ideality – supported by the oscillation of the representations in relation to the different historical moments within which they emerge. The analysis for all of the above focused on the transition from the first to the second wave of the feminist movement. As a result, it was possible to grasp the protagonism - individual and collective – of the construction of relational devices that support effective strategies of discontinuity and/or new discursive agendas.
