A BR 158 E SEUS IMPACTOS NAS COMUNIDADES INDÍGENAS NO ESTADO DO MATO GROSSO
O presente estudo visa relatar os impactos causados pela implementação da BR-158 no cotidiano das comunidades indígenas no Estado do Mato Grosso, enfatizando que o agronegócio vem mudando a dinâmica territorial de todo estado, porém essa dinâmica é recente na Região do Baixo Araguaia, em específico ao longo da Br 158, que antes apresentava a pecuária como principal atividade econômica e hoje apresenta um novo cenário de expansão na agricultura com a soja, porém, as transformações mais marcantes não vem das sacas de grãos colhidas no local e sim da expectativa da conclusão do asfalto que irá viabilizar o escoamento de toda produção de sojicultora do Nordeste mato-grossense, pelo porto de Itaqui, no Maranhão, conquistando com mais eficiência o mercado consumidor europeu, sendo possível analisar os aspectos positivos e negativos que a mesma traz no interior das sociedades que ela abrange bem como os percalços enfrentados pela mesma em prol da sua preservação e auto afirmação.

Abstract:
This study aims to report the impacts caused by the implementation of BR-158 on the daily lives of indigenous communities in the State of Mato Grosso, emphasizing that agribusiness has been changing the territorial dynamics of the entire state, but this dynamic is recent in the Baixo Araguaia region, in specific along the Br 158, which previously had livestock as the main economic activity and today presents a new scenario of expansion in agriculture with soy, however, the most striking transformations do not come from the sacks of grain harvested on site, but from the expectation of completion of the asphalt that will enable the flow of all soybean production in the Northeast of Mato Grosso, to the port of Itaqui, in Maranhão, more efficiently conquering the European consumer market, making it possible to analyze the positive and negative aspects that it brings in the interior of the societies it encompasses, as well as the setbacks faced by it in favor of its preservation and self-assertion.
