A “BANCARIZAÇÃO” E O DESENVOLVIMENTO ECONÔMICO: UMA ABORDAGEM ESPACIAL PARA O ESTADO DO PARANÁ
Objetivou-se analisar a correlação
espacial entre o desenvolvimento econômico
(IFDM) dos municípios paranaenses e a
disponibilidade de agências e/ou postos de
atendimento bancários (BANC), em 2007 e 2013,
por meio da metodologia AEDE. Os resultados
mostraram a existência de autocorrelação
positiva entre IFDM e BANC, principalmente
em 2007, pois os clusters AA e BB foram mais
representativos, corroborando com a teoria de
que elevado índice de participação bancária
apresenta correlação positiva com o nível de
desenvolvimento dos municípios. Todavia,
deve-se considerar, em 2013, o crescimento dos
agrupamentos AB, principalmente na região Sul
paranaense, indicando autocorrelação espacial
negativa entre as variáveis.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was
to analyze the spatial correlation between
the economic development (MFIs) of the
municipalities of Paraná and the availability
of branches and / or banking service stations
(BANC) in 2007 and 2013, using the AEDE
methodology. The results showed the existence
of positive autocorrelation between MFI and
BANC, especially in 2007, since the clusters AA
and BB were more representative, corroborating
with the theory that a high rate of bank
participation presents a positive correlation with
the level of development of the municipalities.
Nevertheless, in 2013, the growth of the AB
groupings should be considered, especially
in the southern region of Paraná, indicating
negative spatial autocorrelation between the
variables.
